
About Joan
Hi, I’m Joan
Growing up in a medical family, health and wellness were an important part of my life. I have studied meditation and mindfulness for over a decade, with some of the greatest teachers in the field. In 2018, I became a teacher of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. I served as a Board Member for the Community Health Resource Center (CHRC) at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC)—Sutter Health in San Francisco, California from 2011-2021.
